I recently converted some unused money from my Paypal account into a cute Qtek 9100 (WIFI enabled PDA phone that has about all the features you can think of, basically), and as I am spending most of my time in bed for some rather boring surgery recovery, I have plenty of time to play with it.

So, I just found out about a little Pocket PC Last.fm client. One of those moments when you think "hey, that would be cool if…", check on Google, and find just what you were expecting.

Lasftfm PocketPC Player is still in early developpement stages, showing version 0.2 and a minimalist feature set : connect, tune into your last played station, skip song, disconnect, that's it. I just hope the author is motivated enough to give this project some time and a few more hundreds lines of code :) Pretty cool, still. Really pretty cool.

Sweet! Thank you for this post…I had the same moment today that you had about a year and a half ago. Love that Last.FM, love my PPC….

Haha – exactly what I just googled for… :D Just got a new HTC Touch Pro and keep trying to think of the best apps to put on it. Why didn't I think of last.fm earlier, I don't know – I've had the phone a week already… It'll probably be the best app I download. Thankfully data charges are much better these days..
