Now that's interesting, a simple CSS file to hide ads and banners. Of course, requires a bit of CSS3 support (selectors) and the ability of using a custom CSS that applies to every site. In other words, requires Firefox.

    one of my old sites that I was made to buy an over priced domain from in exchange for "free" hosting has an obnoxious link at the bottom .. is there a way to disable anything "below this line" ?

    example:

    really annoying link at the bottom to something that used to be for legitimate credit or copyright but now has nothing to do with you. such as apartments in Cuba
